ABOUT US
Roamer Vans was born out of a trip to Iceland — and a life-changing week spent in a rental campervan that Roamer Vans founder, Nicholas, couldn't stop mentally redesigning. He kept seeing what could be different, not just in this van, but in campers more broadly: cleaner design, more open space, better flow, smarter storage, and a bed that didn't need disassembling every morning.
Back home, he built it — channelling the Scandinavian design sensibility he'd always been drawn to: clean lines, quality materials, a space that felt considered rather than just functional. That first van found a its home with a couple who drove from California to Maryland to buy it. Not because they couldn't find a campervan closer to home. Because they couldn't find this one.
We've been building ever since.
FOUNDER AND BUILDER
Raised between Lebanon and Scotland before building a career as a strategy consultant in New York, Nicholas has always been drawn to new environments and the discipline required to thrive in them. What he was missing was the space to build something with his hands.
He left consulting in 2020 to do exactly that — bringing the same problem-solving mindset to the specific challenges of a small living space: finding solutions that are both clever and simple, functional and considered. Nicholas personally leads every Roamer build, start to finish — because anything worth building is worth building well.

INTERIOR DESIGNER
Maya brings seven years of high-end residential interior design across London, Beirut, and New York to every Roamer build. Her background is in how space actually feels to move through — proportion, palette, and the relationship between function and finish.
She has been part of Roamer from the very first build, and her involvement in every project is why the interiors look and feel the way they do.

OUR PHILOSOPHY
How we think about building.
"This isn't a production line — it's a high-end studio. Every client gets our full attention, from the first design conversation to the moment they drive away."
Nicholas — FounderLess, but better.
Our Signature Series is built around two layouts — not because we ran out of ideas, but because we refined until we had exactly what works. For clients whose vision goes beyond that, our Reserve Series builds every detail from the ground up.
Built for the long haul.
We choose materials based on how they hold up to years of real travel — not how they look on delivery day. Aluminum framing bolted to the chassis. Latching hardware. Components chosen for repairability.
Intentionally simple.
We build systems the owner understands, not just the builder. Self-contained, fewer moving parts, easier to troubleshoot when you're far from cell service. Simplicity isn't a compromise — it's a deliberate choice.
Small by design.
Six to ten vans per year. That's not a constraint we're working against — it's what lets us build the way we want to, with the attention each build and each client deserves.
